It would not be quite easy for a shy person to approach a woman. But please do not misunderstand that you are not attractive or you would have to spend the rest of your life in solitude. You just have to make minor corrections in your life.
Here are some pointers which would be useful for you:
BODY:
It is absolutely important for one to smell good. If you smell good, then half your job is done. No one wants to be in the company of a foul smelling person. Body odour is a put off, so go ahead and invest in a few after shave gels and deos. This will do the trick.

- Hairy chest can also be attractive and sexy, but could also be itchy and irritating. You could probably shave off that hair for a cleaner look.
- Many men have hair on their ears and nose. Women do not find this attractive. Try to removing it off.
- Being in shape enhances the level of confidence. If you have put on some extra pounds, try burning it off by indulging in a sport.
SKIN:
Dull and worn out skin can make a person look tired and more than one’s age. Try and drink lots of water at least 2 liters a day. Go in for a glycerin based soap wash.
An apricot scrub could be tried once a week, for cleansing your face. It would give a fresher and cleaner look.
Use a moisturizer to soften your skin. Your face would have a smoother look.
Many men have long thick cuticles. Go in for a manicure to give it a cleaner look.
HAIR:
One needs to maintain one’s hair by cleaning, conditioning and nourishing.
- Wash your hair at least thrice a week
- Go in for an anti dandruff conditioner based shampoo
- Go to a hair stylist who would give you a good hair style. It could boost your self-esteem.
- A close hair cut would make the person look dignified and matured.
- Trust your designer since your hair designer would be the best person to deciding on what style suits you. If advised by your hair stylist, go in for hair gel or wax.
CLOTHES:

Accessories like belts, wallets, perfumes and eye care items like sunglasses, contact lenses part in enhancing the look of a person.
- Belts – they are available in various styles, designs and colors
- Perfume – wear a perfume which is mild. Your date should enjoy the way you smell
- Eye care – fashionable eyeglasses, lenses are a trend nowadays. Wear something if you are comfortable.
SMILE:
You should never forget to wear this accessory. A smile can set everything set right. If you have taken enough care to dress keeping in mind all the above pointers, but have forgotten this major one, then no one can help you. In order to give a radiant and healthy smile, you need to take good care of your teeth. Your teeth have to be clean not stinking and healthy.
Women love to be in the company of men who can make them smile and laugh.
